V70 lift gate

Default V70 lift gate
I have a 2006 v70 that needs a new lift gate assembly. Will one from a 2001 fit. It looks identical except for some of the badging. Can any experts confirm this? Thanks.

2001-2007 are all the same

Well I did it. Wasn't that bad. Had to use old wiring harness but it look great. Thanks again.
