2003 V70 making humming sound from engine. Took it in for repair - timing belt, water pump and belt replaced - cost $1050 (plus car rental for two days - $160...)....
Picked up car - still making the same noise - in fact, it might be louder. Noise accelerates as car accelerates. Stops at about 40 mph. Is now making noise when you decelerate as well.
Any ideas what it could be?
