Volvo Extended Warranty
I bought a used 2009 Volvo C30 with 68000km in early September. It has been an absolute dream to drive. I took it in for the required 72000km service check up and all is generally fine. They mentioned that the front brakes were probably going to need work in the spring since they were at about 40% but the back brakes are at 90%....so they are fine. At the same time they mentioned that my warranty will run out at 80000 km and that I should consider buying the extended warranty. This will do nothing for the eventual front brake job since they are not covered under the warranty.
Should I buy the extended warranty for this car. It is 3600 for 3 years (90000km), 2700 for 2 years (60000km). I am always a bit worried that this is money thrown away but this is my first volvo.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
