1993 850 GLT with flasher/hazards problem
The story is, I had purchased this abused car with good intentions of rescue and PART time hobby interest. She was the first vehicle I've ever owned that I felt deserved a name, Victoria, for having survived the previous owner's abuse and lack of care. Some months later, my brother and I have gone over her with great attention to detail, replacing parts as needed and bringing her back to respectable life. With all the blood, sweat and the wanting to cry a couple times, I even had my thumb broken on one occasion, we are still not done. One NAGGING problem exists: The hazards/ flashers do not work. Now before you jump to an idea, let me say that we know nearly nothing about electrical, but are willing to do this work as well.
The details are: Reverse lights are NOT working, when in reverse (or any position)
Flashers/ Hazards do NOT work with running lights ON or OFF
"Bulb Failure Warning Sensor, Trailer" indicator light on the dash stays steady on, when hazards or flashers are
engaged.
Hazards & Directionals DID work, when after market anti-theft alarm was intentionally set off.
We have intentionally removed said after market anti-theft alarm, due to it's possible interferance and unprofessional
installation. NO change has occured.
Brake lights, all other exterior and interior lights, and the horn DO work.
So, what gives! We are getting balder trying what little we know and getting nowhere. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Hi and welcome. You should probably post such specific questions in a more appropriate forum, I don't think alot of ppl read this area. You're best off in the 850 forum.

The turn signals are controlled by the Hazard switch. The hazard switch might just be bad.
If you would like check out the link for a wiring Diagram and it might also help you.
