Been searching volvo forums
We have 2 volvos in my family, and i'm the one that gets to work on them.
an 03 s80 and a 04 xc90.
This forum has helped me so i figured i might be able to add.
Just did a Remote start on the 2004 XC90 and everything works. couldn't find much info about it when searching. It was pretty strait forward if you've done a remote start before any stereo shop would be able to handle it easily. Maybe the next person will find this helpful.
the 04 (build 3/03) have the can bus wires in the kickpanel not the obd2 port, if using the evo from fortin. I couldn't get the tach to sync with the crimestopper remote start and evo.

Its a good thing you joined up here. Indeed this forums is great. A lot of help is available over here and everyone is so polite here. I just enjoy my stay.
