I removed my battery to charge it. when I put it back on the radio asked for a code. I tried to put the code I had from the previous owner 3 times and was locked out. In the meantime, the battery went flat again so I replaced it with a new one. The radio remains blank and does not ask for a code? I have obtained the correct code from a Volvo dealership. I have left the key on position one for 2.5 hours but still not working. can anyone suggest a fix please?

 

Was the radio turned on during the 2 hours the key was turned to the accessory position - with
"off" displayed? If so "off" will change to "code"
