01' c70. It's got 45,000 miles and its a 5 speed! Well i'm sure you all will see me as i'm new to the Volvo world. I went from a 2000 Eclipse GT to a 1981 BMW 633csi to this. Finally a car with a turbo!

nice car, any plans for mods?

 

Of course! It will be a couple months before I can start doing anything but the first thing i'm gonna do is get rid of that nasty wheel well. Any mods I can do for free to make that turbo sound louder? Can't I remove the the top of the filter box? My friend did that in his Audi A4 and it worked.

Also, where are some good sites for aftermarket parts? Any place you reccomend?

No you cannot remove the top of the airbox. You can slap a cheap cone filter on the end of your MAF to hear the turbo better.

or if you really want some hp gains you could go for a new turbo
garret t4b a/r60 trim 52 16 pal (pics from a 2001 volvo c70 2.0lpt (manual) install)




with new front mount intercooler




only other things i could think of would be port and polish with ecu, exhaust and air filter you would be looking at 350-400 bhp

if only i had the money for the garrett turbo [&o]

 

That is sick putting an FMIC on the c70! do you have pics of that project? Link me to where I can find them...
