Default Mechanic told me the whole steering rack was bad

So I had a slow leak of power steering fluid on my 1998 volvo s70 front wheel drive 2.3 turbo. A few days ago there was just no power steering and the slow drip turned into a full pour. The mechanic puts it on the lift. Good guy I guess. Used him a few times. He tells me the whole rack needs to be replaced. It's about and 800 job. So I went online to order the rack. I just not positive the details I need to get the specific steering rack I need. Is 1998 volvo s70 FWD T5 SEDAN enough information to get the correct replacement rack?

No, it's not. they used two different steering racks. I guess you already see that, right? If you look at auto parts stores they tell you that you have to go look at the plate on the left inner fender and see what that says about the steering rack.

I found the plate. How do I read the code on it to determine my steer rack
