Hi,
You got a nice machine to replace your Camry. Volvos are definitely safer than everyday Toyota, but their electronic systems (controls/diagnostics) seem to be the major problems. It seems common to European makes.
When you have a problem, be sure to post questions/answers in the S70 section. People there would be able to help you better and the info would be more accurate.
