Hey guys I just purchased a 2006 Volvo XC90 V8 AWD for my wife yesterday. This is our first Volvo and this one is by no means perfect.
it has the Volvo NAVI, which for some reason doesn't work, and DVD rear headrest. car rides and drive like a champ most everything on the inside works minus Nav.
I did however notice it has an oil leak which as we drove it home smelt worst and worst as it was burned. I didn't know if the 4.4 had any issues with any common leaks that develop. I will be checking the basics today to make sure the previous owners didn't leave an oil plug loose or bad filter O-ring.
I'm glad this site is here and look forward to getting some good solid information from you guys.
