post this question on turbobricks. There's a fair amount of folks there that actually like the Mitsu turbos.

The 15g has a smaller wheel and an older G style wheel which is a fraction of a bit heavier then the newer T wheel which spools quicker. The 16t housing also holds more boost to redline if need be. In a 3/S that turbo I believe can hold 15 psi to redline but that is a pair of those turbos and not one. Overall the 16t is a bit better.

I bought a volvo TD04hl 6cm3 off Saab Kid,The 15g has a smaller wheel and an older G style wheel which is a fraction of a bit heavier then the newer T wheel which spools quicker. He said it'd bolt right up, and it looks like it will. They had the larger lucas injectors and a slightly different 15G compressor Vs. the 15T.

15G puts a smile on your face, 16T buts a bigger smile on your face.

The 15g has a small wheel and the wheel of an old style of G which is a fraction of a bit heavier, then the new wheels T rolls faster. The house also has more than 16 tons Redline boost if necessary. In 3 Turbo / S that I believe can have 15 psi to redline, but a pair of these turbos, not one. Overall 16 tons is much better.

According to me, 15g or 16t will both work, just make sure you get a straight-flange 15g. No real point to putting the 15g on, you'll just loose performance to it. Stick with a 16t.
