Can I use a 16t turbine on 15g cartridge?

I found this write up on ClubRoadster this morning. I think I may try it. The reason I want to convert my existing turbo is that the one I bought has be destroyed on the exhaust side. The shaft split at the bearing and the compressor side bearing seized to the shaft. The compressor was undamaged since, surprisingly enough, the shaft had absolutely no play and still spun freely. The exhaut side ground away at the housing a little and ground a third of an inch into the cartridge. I don't think the angle outlet housing is salvageable. That sucks alot.

Well, I have found the information I was looking for so I will leave some information for anyone else who wants to give this a swing. The 15g bearing housing has an inset place for the compressor which is ~57mm across. A 16t compressor has an extruder diameter of ~56mm which is still small enough to fit the housing without lathing it out. Since TD04HL housings are technically interchangeable, the factor exhaust side can be left on the car and the compressor wheel and housing can be changed without replacing anything else aside from the backing plate under the compressor and the oil seal inside it. All that is necessary to do the conversion is to buy a turboback rebuild kit to rebuild the flatback housing. I will do a build video and post a new thread on the conversion once I have the kit and time to do so. In the mean time, can anyone point me to the cheapest ECU flash that will remove the boost limit? It's driving me nuts when I smash the throttle and it cuts out around 14PSI.
