FedEx, less than helpful
I ordered some parts from FCPEuro and they were shipped right away. FedEx tracking said that it would be delivered on Sunday, 4/10 (yesterday). Yesterday afternoon, I checked the tracking information and it said "9:55 AM Recipient location security delay." WTF? Security delay?
So today I called FedEx and asked what does "Security delay" mean. Of course there's no notes in the system but the lady says, "He probably had trouble getting into your building." Weeeeeell, I live in a single family house. "Then your gate was locked." No gate. Also, I was leaving for work around 9:55, there was no FedEx truck on the street, and my daughter was home all day and never saw a thing.
No road construction. No police dealing with a hostage situation. No gangs fighting in the cul-de-sac.
I'm thinking that the driver decided that he didn't want to make all of his deliveries and lied.
