What did you do to your car today?
Replaced a broken headlight lens and attempted to fix the tailgate hatch panel only to find out I need more of the fasteners for another trim piece that is also off. Fun times.

Haven't been on in a long while, but put in a full OBX exhaust, CAI, Silicone hoses...then she started to smoke. Turbo is probably heading south, so this Sunday will be putting in a newly rebuilt 15g along with new oil lines and a full tune up. Also had to take the tune out to take it easy on the turbo. That will also go back in! Will post pics. soon
This is what I did today.

I now need to find a S70 with gray interior to strip all the upper parts from so it matches the headliner.
Also here is a pic of the rear wheels spaced out.

do you know how one would fix that? my htd seats are working ( i think?) but very dull lol.. i mean i know the car is 16years old but is there any easy way to make the seat work or work better?
I replaced the automatic belt tensioner and it still chirps...argghh!!!
Replaced the power antenna mass on my 960. Really turned into a cluster ****.
Pulled the old mass out and the new one would not retract all the way. So I opened the motor and pulled out a 6" piece from the motor, put everything back together and still would not retract all the way. Pulled it back out and couldn't see a problem and noticed that I had a lot of extra plastic on my new one so I cut about 8" off. Still would not retract. Took it back out, feed the new one in, still would not retract all the way in. Kept leaving about 8" of antenna up. So I took the antenna apart and looked down the barrel and noticed something in the barrel, it was another piece of the old antenna plastic, you guessed it, about 8" of it. So put it all together, now it retracted all the way. Raised it up and you guessed it, spit the antenna mass out of the motor and it wasn't up all the way, about 4" short. Then it would not retract without a boost. So I messed up the new mass by cutting 8" off the end of it. So I was trying to figure out a way to use the damaged mass I purchased for $30. Well, I figured that I could shorten the lower section of the antenna about 6 to get it to stop the motor from ejecting the plastic cable out of the gear. That was another ordeal which included me cutting the antenna with a small plumbing pip cutter and losing the bottom tip that stops it from being ejected from the antenna end.
End of the story is I have it all together after trying to solder that end of the old one to the new one. It works but seems like a temp fix. Lession learned, if it don't go down all the way, keep digging.

Replaced the fog bulbs with LED's from fleabay. They are crap. Put back in the H3's.
Note to others wanting LED lighting...the LED lighting technology does not seem to be there for headlamps yet. Dont bother. The LED replacements I bought were advertised as 130LM which I misunderstood to be similar to 130watts. My mistake. Later found out that a 55w bulb puts out 700LM so 130LM is a glow stick comparatively.
