Preformed my first oil change! lol Put in a IPD magnetic drain plug, and filter. Filled up to 7.3qts of Mobil 1 10W30.
I also topped off my windshield washer fluid. Added some rain-X as well to the reservoir.
Then drove to my job (airport) to dispense of the old oil. Drove home and then had a few beers.

I like the black on some cars. My T5R is pretty dark almost black, but I like the grey better on my white one. Mainly because I want match the tip on the R spoiler. I am really not into blacking things out. Did you put the headlight wipers on the white car? I can't tell from the picture. Looks like you got the trim pieces with the holes, but not the wipers after I looked closer.

Took my T5R to the shop yesterday and will have it back newly painted on Friday. He put some polishing compound on the trunk while I was therr and we were surprised that the car does not have a clear coat on it.
He was going to charge me $650 for the bumper, fender and front door. He looked at the small crease on the rear quarter panel and there is also a spot where the paint was peeling from the accident. He said he would just do the whole side for another $150 and fix the crease. I told him to do whatever he thought it needed up to $1,000 and to call me if needs anything that would go over that.
The body shop I wanted to take it to wanted $2150 to do the side, but in all fairness they did not want to do the work. I'm still pretty far under the $3,000 I got from insurance including new struts, shocks and headlights. Hell the car is going to be way better than before it go hit!
Might take the white one out tonight and look for a FedEx truck.

No didn't get the wiper motors in yet I think that is part of this weekends projects.
Wipers, door handles, mudflaps, and fix my rear door that will not open.(I k now how to fix it just had to get the parts) Once I fix it I will make a post about it.
I like the gray better but the wife likes the black. I tried to talk her into the gray but it was a no go and she wanted the covers black as well. Sometimes you just need to sit back and shut up and do what they want.
I am also hoping soon to have matching rims that your white car came with as well on her car. Sorry not really trying to copy you just trying to make it look better.

Lookin good Tech!
Today I fixed my coolant leak and it only cost me $1.36 for a hose clamp and about an hour of my time. WooHoo!! It ended up being something a lot easier than I originally thought.
After a closer look it was the rubber hose that comes off the bottom of the resivoir that was leaking. Obviously someone had tried to repair it before with an el-cheap-o hose clamp and that is where the leak was coming from. It was leaking down onto the pipe I was talking about (the one I thought was cracked). So I went to Autozone and spent a whopping $1.36 on a new hose clamp, cut about a quarter inch off the rubber hose where the hole was, slid the hose back onto the resivoir elbow on the bottom and tightened down the new hose clamp. Presto, no more leakage ::knock on wood::

Also bought some new pads for the rear of the Audi which I plan on installing tomorrow. I replaced the fronts a few weeks ago. I plan on taking off all 4 wheels, painting the calipers, greasing everything up good and putting the wheels back on and hitting them (not literally) with the torque wrench.
