What did you do to your car today?
Changed the rear brake pads on the Audi, greased all the components and front and rear wheel bearings with Bel-Ray waterproof grease then drove her through the auto-wash. Getting ready to slap some vasaline on the wheels so this crap they put on the roads here to melt the snow doesn't eat the clear coat off the wheels. That's going to be interesting; walking into Walmart and only buying a big thing of Vaseline. My luck I'll get some hot chick running the register giving me a weird look...lol
We shall see...... I also know that the struts on there are the originals too! I am hoping that a 1.25 drop and new struts might take care of some of the harshness. I know it will still be there, but hopefully they will help.
I have a long list but haven't had time to post it.
Three weeks ago I installed NGK Iridium plugs ( '01 V70 ). I have 82k and I believe the Volvo ones were original by the looks of them. Of course, the difference is very noticeable.
Two weeks ago I replaced both front axles, struts, mounts and plates. Everything also looked original. There's a HUGE difference in ride quality.
One week ago I bought a black cargo cover and mat for the back on eBay and received those and installed them. eBay is great for cheap stuff.
This week so far, I've gotten a 4 wheel alignment and last night de-badged my car of all of my, let's call them, add-on badges and the V70 lettering, just leaving Volvo on the back.
The only things I have left I may do is change out the front grill to a black mesh one and maybe tint the windows. I've always wanted a blacked-out car and since the car is black, it's my time lol. I'm still debating whether to tint because of some road trips we are taking this year where I might want the light and the view.
Of course, black wheels are in the mix somewhere down the line, maybe later on in the year.

After spending most of yesterday helping a buddy do a bunch of things on his V70 he surprised me with these rims and tires.
He also gave me his old exhaust system which I will post pics later of. I need to find a few parts then it will go on my car.

Found and plugged the last leak on my 2003 S80 yesterday, the power steering reservoir's cap.
What is it with Volvo and bad caps? Heck, the thing doesn't even screw down half way; virtually all the threads are still showing when tightened.

Today put the exhaust on and put my old wheels on the wifes car. Here is a few pics after all the hard work.
