Sorry to hear about the low compression on #2 but not that bad unless causing some missfire problems
I installed my new Colgan custom bra to the front of my 01 Plantation Yellow S40. Looks super nice with the black tinted windows but had to remove the headlight wipers as there was no cutout for them. Also pulled drivers door panel to snug up the window regulator to glass bolts as they were loose and making a clicking noise when changing direction. Nice and quite now

Talking Discovered my sleeper

Driving home on the fwy and an early 2000s mustang gt flew up on me and bounced it off the rev limiter twice. I smiled and waved, he downshifted and hammered the throttle, so I floored it. I only wish I had my camera ready for the look on his face when I walked away from him and hit my hazards. Man he was pissed, so I smiled and waved again. I LOVE THIS SLEEPER *** CAR! And its still bone stock...

Man, try not to do cold compression test. They give you bad info. That 113 is within the 15% sway but you will be surprised at the number differences with a properly done test.

Hahaha yeah cold test sucks. Did a warm dry and woah its problems. Nr 2 is 35 below the other. On the bright side i did found a B5234t6 engine complete with turbo, intake and exhaust manifolds, gearbox and fuel rail etc still attached. The plan is to drop this enine in while i rebuild the original. The engine is an import and i managed to get hold of the owner and he said the original v70R was totalled by insurance from a back side smash. Engine did only 45k. Getting it for a steal so it is really ok.

850R

Replaced rubbers on drivers door and right rear door. Have to fit new cluster (was planned for today but the beers got in the way).
Replaced both side indicators from orange to the white ones. Think i ripped from a old s40, in the yard but now i cant remember if it was an s40. Anyway they are exact only white.

S60
Replaced the wood trim to aluminium trim on the door panels with trim i got from a totalled 2009 s60.
Fitted a Blue power 890 unit in the car. Was to lazy to hook up the front and rear cameras. Another day....

850R

Took the car for a total make over, complete respray and some body repairs and some interior work. Original color btw. Car builder going to fit a B5234T6 engine as well while I rebuild the B5234T5 with proper internals. Engine bay getting resprayed as well so a swap at this time is in order.

Bought brake pads, heater core, turbo oil return line gasket and replacement power mirror switch. Installing it all on Sunday.
Now all I need is a rebuilt ABS module, right fog light and a stock stereo for it to be factory complete. Anyone selling any of these? Help a brotha out!

Picked up some more spares from the dealer for the 850R. Front wheel liners, gaskets, bunch of pipes, engine mountings etc etc. All for the love of it i guess.

S60

Fixed the wires going to the crank sensor. Car died on me yesterday while driving and failure to find the fault next to the road i had to call a truck to take the car home.

Car just stalled while driving but engine cranks over like normal. Found the red wire to be broken. Luckily i found the problem and did not send the car to the dealer.

850 - new control arms. The RHS one took me 2.5 hours, the balljoint nut was round, it looks like someone has tried to repalce it previously. I had to grind it off.

The LHS one took about 30 minutes.

Now she no longer wanders all over the road.

Wheel alignment tomorrow.

Had a busy day with my car, a 240 wagon, today. First thing, in order to help an awful idling issue I'm having, I cleaned my AMM. It did help some. I also troubleshot cruise control. The vacuum pump is bad. I also cleaned the switch to turn brights on/off. It all but didn't work, but now it does. I also fixed my speedometer. If I'd hit bumps it'd flip out. I fixed it by wrapping some electrical tape around the wiring to the sensor on the rear differential. After testing my work, I parked and noticed my tire had gotten a hole in it. It was hissing. So, I also unfortunately got to change a tire.

Finally got done installing a new tailgate seal for my 240 wagon. Took forever! I also washed it at the car wash.
