1994 940 wagon FS
I am selling my 1994 940 wagon. I purchased it from the original owner about four years ago. It has served me well and I wouldn't sell except that I've purchased another wagon. I have spent a ton of money getting this one ready to drive for many more miles. Work within the last few months includes: fresh valve job and head resurface by Scandia Service, ceramic metallic brake pads, Bendix vented rotors, OD solenoid,Map, speedo, factory oil cap, hoses, timing belt, fluid change, filters, tie rods, sway bar bushings, EGR, oil trap refresh, etc. During the last few years I have replaced all fuel pumps, filters, rotor, cap, plugs, wires, crank sensor, sensors, tires, new radio head unit, AC charge, etc, etc, etc.
The 940 currently has about 180K on the chassis although it reads higher as I replaced the speedo/odom with a used one when mine became erratic(I have shop paperwork for this and will include original speedo). The car runs very well, runs cool, stops, steers and goes as it should. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere.
Issues? Some of the clear coat on side pillars is peeling, one of the seat heater switches is stuck(will include two new ones), few minor scuffs, chips etc. The 940 is currently registered and insured in my name and I have a current smog cert. The wagon is located in south orange county. 3400.
