Default 1990 245 Ignition switch replacement

1990 DL 245

Has anyone ever removed and replaced the ignition switch in 1990 DL 245?

I was going to replace mine today. I removed the bolster, the six torx head bolts holding a cross bar that would allow access to the switch, the upper and lower steering wheel shrouds, and the trim piece that fits over the ignition switch. It is still very securely attached somewhere, that I can't see. Any help is appreciated.

Fred, are you trying to replace the entire lock cylinder or just the actual switch on the back side?

John, Just the switch. There is something I can't see holding it in place. I had done no damage, so I put everything back in place until I could find out what I was missing. Thanks in advance for your wisdom. Fred
