Hello,
Searched this out but didn't find alot on this subject. Anyone have any directions on how to replace the sunroof? My sunroof cable broke on the drivers side so it won't close all the way. I have a replacement actually I have everything, track, cables sunroof etc... Anyone have actual instructions?

You will need to remove the headliner and the the entire assembly from the car.

Can I just replace the cables and track from the top? If I have to take the whole headliner down how do i go about that?

I don't think you can do it unless you remove the headliner.

Start buy removing everything screwed through it.Handles,lights ETC.

Then it should start dropping.

 

Ok so I replaced the sunroof tracks and have the sunroof working properly again. Now the hardest part is trying to put the headliner piece that clips to the inside of the sunroof back on. I can't seem to fit and clip it back to the sunroof. Do I put it thru the top? Inside the car I can't fit it back up thru the sunroof opening?? Any tips would be appreciated. Replacing the track seeemed to be the easy part.

 

It is a pain in the A**.It will be the easiest to do it from inside.Start inserting it at an angle.Then try to work it around.It takes some patiance and working it around.
