My buddy is stuck in a hard place. what is the procedure to reset the alarm on a 1990 740 gl. have tried disconnecting the battery for 20mins or so and tried locking and unlocking, putting the battery on with it in the key 2 position and nothing is helping. any ideas? Thanks

 

this is has nothing to do with volvo. depends on the specific type of alarm the car has-it must be an aftermarket unit.
