Default 1992 240 Radio Question

I had an aftermarket radio/CD player installed and had to change my power antenna for an old stick type antenna. Do the modern radios have a way to attach the power connections for the antenna or did my installer just not catch on to how this is done?

They sure do--there is usually a wire marked 'Antenna' on the radio harness, and there is a wire on the Volvo's harness for the power antenna. The installer has to put them together...

on a 1992 240 with the factory radio prep (afaik ALL US models had this), antenna control is a red wire on pin 3 at the radio (top bay) connector. you would connect this to the blue wire on a typical aftermarket stereo.
