1995 940 idle and starting issues
Hello.
My mother's 940 sometimes doesn't want to start, and it just puts very slowly until it stalls. If she turns the key off and waits a minute, it starts right up and idles perfect. I have heard something about a bad fuel pump relay being a possible reason.
Also, usually when it's not warmed up yet, it will raise its own idle to about 1500 for a second or a few seconds, then idle back down. Which is bothersome when you're driving or at a red light. It tries to do a burn out.
Any help is appreciated, my mother is tired of all the weird issues the car has had over the years. There are several more issues, but I'm starting with tthese. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
