940 turbo problems
I bought a 940 turbo from a friend of a friend earlier this year.
it worked fine for a little while then is died on me.
I took it to a volvo specialist and he replaced the fuel relays.
he gave me a list of a couple of things that needed to be done to the car.
now i am having issues with it again.
first of all it dosn't like wet weather (is this common?)
what happens is when its idle it acts as if it is going to die. the engin is jumpy like it isn't getting fuel.
also it is not wanting to shif gears.
so i was wondering what is wrong and if it may be one of the things on the list or if it is something else?
here is the list
* front engine seals, drive belts, timing belt weak, sway bar links, and pinon seal.
(also was wondering if anyone had a diagram they would email me of my car. I am having issues finding certain things in it)

Check the fuel filter, the most common cause of vehicles breaking down is sometimes the most obivious. My 93 940 base was kept in the shop almost 2 weeks before the mechanics that worked on it since under warrenty thought to change the fuel filter, additionally what could also be causing your problem could be a fuel pump(which could be on its death bed). Those are great places to start, see if you still have the service manual too, that'll tell you loads. Good luck
