Having trouble with my break lights I have check everything but the bulb failure relay having trouble locating it. Is it behind the steering column? this all started when the third break light shorted out and my son had smoke coming from under the dash. I have a right side stop light but no left or center. Since the the center and the left lights are not working I am assuming it may be the failure relay. They look to run together up to the failure relay so I am trying to check, but can't locate it.

 

Would that be a 1975, or a 1993? It might make a difference.
