Default 240 engine belly pan

Ok, I feel like an idiot having to ask this but can someone snap a photo of how the plastic belly pan under the engine attaches to the car? When my grandson got his 1990 240 DL the plastic pan was in the trunk, and he wants to put it on. It looks simple enough but no matter how we try, the bolt holes don't line up. Either it is not the correct plastic pan, or we are missing something.

Thanks

The pan does tend to flatten out when off. The mounting holes are under the engine cross member and the radiator mount plus and couple on each side. I start with the 3 rear bolts first and then the front ones. You have to push the front edge up and back to line up their holes. I think there some tabs the front edge has to go into. I seem to remember the bolts are 10mm and about 3/4" long. I recommend using flat washers and spacers as the plastic pan will squash and split otherwise. I made spacers about 1/4" long out of copper tubing from a plumbing supply. Then push each side inward to line up their holes on the frame.
