Hi all, can anyone tell me what connector this is? I found it floating around behind my dash all by its' lonesome.. I have a '92 240 that i'm replacing the blower motor and resistor on (as well as a myriad other things) and saw this back there.. I was hoping it would be the analog clock connector (since I have a box of parts that came with the car and found a clock). Thanks in advance for your help,

Hard to say for sure, but it's not for a clock! I'd say ambient temp. gauge available in Europe? Looks like the plug in the 940 which is for such a gauge. There are many such wires in these cars, for options available in some markets and not in others.

 

if you can write down the wire colors and pin positions, I can compare it with the stereo connector in the greenbook for a 92 240...

 

O.k, I'm just wanting to make sure all my electrical plug bases are covered now that I have the dash apart and I'm not missing out on any electrical accessories that should be plugged in.. So here are a picture of my center console and lower left dash. I thought the gray connector in the first picture that's near the airbag connection, etc might be for heated seats but I'm told it's not.The second picture is from the right side lower dash. This is a 3 prong connection that's headed to nowhere. I have no guesses on this one. The center console plugs I assume are for seat belt indicator lights but there are two plugs here, and one has 3 connections while the other has 2. Any ideas on these guys? Thanks for the help, as always!
