I have repaired this once before and today the cable came off of the pulley mechanism behind the dash again. Motor runs good and wipers were working fine before I heard a click and the wiper arms didn’t move anymore while the motor was running

what could cause it to keep coming off?

 

incorrect reassembly
worn pulley(s)
loose cable
worn wiper pivots

 

I believe reason #1 was the cause..I don’t believe I tightened it enough.

 

good to let folks know what the possible issue was! too many times we don't find out what the solution was (or the root cause).
