6 fuel pump replacements
ok i had my fuel pump and whole assembly unit changed several times i went to junk yard to aquire 3 whole sending units at diffrent months apart from each other and i beleive they keep going bad and i have bought 3 diffrent fuel pump motors for around 45$ and had those installed as well car runs fine for about 1'3 months time then bam the car turns over but wont start and then when i replace it it works for 1'3 months then i always have to install a new one what vouod be the problem causing the fuel pump to go bad so quickly?

I wouldn't install any fuel pump from the junkyard as there is no telling whether it is any better than the one you are removing. I am assuming that you are talking about the in-tank pump but I have never had a failed in-tank pump cause a no start condition.
When they fail, did you bench test them after pulling it out? Have you verified that the pump isn't running before you pull it out?

i had took it to a shop and they said there was a metal peiece from the fuel pump floating in the gas tank and they removed it so i took it to another mechanic and got another whole sending unit and he said it was good but the motor was bad so i got another motor and he installed it and it was working for one month then car wouldent turn on its a 1993 940 volvo one fuel pump

Apparently you are going to have to buy a new Volvo pump since the other methods haven't worked. It's about $130 retail from the Volvo dealer. You must specify that it is for a Regina system. Many "professionals" assume that all Volvos have a Bosch system and throw a wrong pump in there with less than optimal results.

a bosch lh system has a mass air flow sensor in the air path between the air filter box and the throttle body that says Bosch, while a regina system has a pressure sensor that doesn't look like much of anything.
bosch uses a conventional round ignition coil, while regina uses a square 'transformer' like pole with integrated power module.
