My 1991 740 front wheel is squeaking agian. I dont know what to do. I will bring it to my mechanic soon but i dont know what is going to happen. the sound stops when i hit the breaks. it has been getting worse over time and my dad said he had this problem with this car a few years ago it got really bad then he got it fixed and it was a lot of money.

 

I'd look into the brake pads: shim them, spray some anti squeal on the back side, change them as a last resort for a softer pad, PBR don't squeal and don't cost much...
