Hello, whereas the lower door hinge to replace is a cinch, I'm stuck to access the inner screws of the upper hinge of the left front door. I can see these screws through the little slot between the rubber door piping and the dashboard panelling. The problem is how I can get to these screws in the upper hinge, because there is a thicket of wiring harnesses, relays etc. about 18cm deep in front of these screws. In my Volvo (left driver car), it's so crammed full that I can't even reach the screw with a probe.
At the moment, it looks like I'm the only one whose upper hinge is worn out. My lower one is still good.
Anybody a hint for me?
