Hello everyone, first post. The blower motor on my moms 84 240 2DR is not working. My brothersaid it came once or intermitten a few times so I'm thionking or wishfully hoping it is a switch and not the motor. Is there an shopsleft the the Dallas area that is familiar with the old 240? Anything i can check myself?My mom purchased it new and it only has 40,000 miles. It was the last year of the 2Dr body style and I have kept it garaged and in really good shape over the years. She has since passed away so I hate to turn it loose to some butchermechanic that has never been in a 240 dash.I found a goodvolvo shopethat worked on it once but that was 15 years ago and I cant remember or find them. The car just hasnt required anything other than normal maintenance which I domyself. Thanks

 

Weird, my mother had the same car, bought it new and lost it in the storm surge of Hurricane Andrew (Volvos do float...for a while).
