Default 85' 240 suspension issues

Hello,

I recently got my 85' 240 on the road. Although the suspension seems quite firm compared to my old 240, it seems to have a "judder" over small bumps. I suspect that perhaps a previous owner has put some hard nylon bushes in. I am new to suspension issues, which parts would cause a "judder" over small bumps?

The car has just passed a road worthiness test with nil issues in the suspension area.

I intend on using genuine rubber bushes too.

Suggestions on what bushes to replace first would be much appreciated.

cheers, Gareth

Its more of a pain in the *** to go at it twice or three times, they are cheap enough I would say do them all at once. I think the "Judder" though could be your shocks ...hence the name "shock absorber ". Normally bushings cause clunks and or play.
