Default '87 Volvo 740 fuse panel??

I have '87 Volvo 740 GLE non-turbo. I pulled the fuse panel out to check one of the relays and I can't get in to go back in the compartment. It may sound silly to you, but please help.

Thank You,
boopie

I feel for you but there is no tricks to that kind of procedure. Just make sure nothing is in the way, such as wires, and try to snap it back in. Worse case, try taking out the side panels to open more space, or the radio above. I assume you have the utility tray out already... Sometimes when you try to save time by not removing enough parts, it takes longer.

indeed, you'll need to figure out whats preventing it from going into place and sort that out. my guess is, one of the harness cables isn't folding back into whatever space it came from.
