Question 94 Volvo 940 Restoration

I decided to restore the '94 Volvo 940 that I had bought a number of years ago for one of my daughters, which she brought back to me. It's been sitting in my yard for at least three years. I bought a Fuel Pump Relay, because, somehow, the original one was missing. However, after I installed it, today, I saw that it doesn't sit tightly, although all the terminals fit where they're supposed to. Anyone else ever have this issue? The Fuel Pump Relay model is URO-002684. This is the model that is supposed to match. Did I get the wrong one?
Any help available will be greatly appreciated.

Goldenblock here!
you will have to manuever the clips away to slightly lift up the whole relay/ fuse section!
the area where fuel pump relay sits in most likely broke the tab on the underside.
lift the connectors with one hand while pushing relay down with the other hand. On the top side This will solve your problem!! Easy

Collector, master mechanic and Redblock parts selling.
hit me up anytime!!

Goldenblock, thanks for the prompt reply. I willl go out and try that. Meanwhile, I'm also looking at bypassing the relay with a jumper to test the fuel pump. Lots of work to do on this car, but I think it's worth it. I just haven't worked on any vehicles in a long time.

Thanks, again, and have a great day. I'll let you know the results after trying what you suggested.
