940 D24TIC to B230F

phew. at a minimum...
nearly everything under the hood including wiring harnesses, relays, airbox, etc. ecu and icu which are behind the firewall under the dash. fuel pumps. if you're keeping the M46, you'll need a B230F from a manual, or you'll need to find a flywheel to replace the automatic flexdisk, and if your B230F is 1989+ so uses LH2.4 (preferred), then this flywheel should also be 1989+ as LH2.4 needs timing dings in the flywheel. exhaust system including cat and o2 sensor.
the diesel probably has a different final drive ratio, you'll want to change out the gearing in the rear axle (parts from donor car). if instead you go with the transmission from the donor car (probably an AW70/AW71 automatic), then be sure to get the drive axle (different lengths for different trannies) and shift linkage and interior trim around shifter.
assuming the B230F donor car is also a 940 (or 91/92 740), you'll want the relay panel under the center console, and 'merge' the EFI relay stuff with the stuff your car already has (unless the cars are identical years and have the same 'features', you likely can't juist take the donor relay panel as-is). also if you're switching to the AW70/71 automatic, you'll need to change out the OD relay and wiring as they are different between an automatic and manual.
assuming donor car is another 940, swap the front springs, the diesel has super heavy duty springs which will ride like a rock with the lighter gas engine.
