I finally have my '88 245 back on the road. New R&P, tons of new rubber, AC Compressor bushings, new PS reservoir, new vacuum lines.

WE got it in December, therefore no AC use. I fired it up, and couldn't figure out how to turn on the AC compressor....is there a switch?

 

There should be a turn ****, red with blue surround, that's for the temperature adjustment, the blue area should be for the A/C activation.

 

I was thinking that...I pulled the wire to the compressor and jumped in 12v....the AC clutch did not engage.

Been thinking about it, not sure if the compressor is grounded. I will check that tomorrow, or the next day.
