adding cruze control?

It plugs right in and bolts right in. NO wiring splicing even needed! There is a plug behind the cluster where it will plug right in. Assuming you are in North America.
There is an 88?+ system, and then the older one. I am familiar with the newer one and I know it plugs right in. Just make sure you get the newer style and have a newer car. Get it?

on our 87 240, the cruise actuator was right next to the gas pedal, and actually pulled on the pedal via a short bowden cable
on later cars (or maybe on all 7/9's, I dunno), the actuator is under the hood and has its own cable that pulls on the main throttle 'drum' (which is a bigger version)

Old style 240 uses an actuator and a LONG ugly cable underhood.
NEW style 240 (88?+) uses the pedal servo.
NEW style is simply ONE electrical plug behind the dash that is purportedly already there on at least the US Market. Might could be missing on over the pond cars.
The new styel 240 system can easily be bought, sold, and installed. Will fit in flat rate box!
