Amsoil or Redline in M47

Default Amsoil or Redline in M47

Ok gonna order some lube. This tranny M47 has alot of mies on it. Probably around 350000. I hear alot of good things about amsoil or redline. What do you recommend. Thanks

They are very good brands but I think what is more important is to change the fluid in your transmission every 30,000 miles. Something that most people rarely do.

He has a MANUAL trans, quite unnecessary to change the oil that often!

I'd use any good quality oil, may be a little heavier weight than recommended...

I did not pick up on that. With that said, it takes 2.4 quarts of type F automatic transmission fluid.

Redline and Amsoil are both quality brands, I wouldn't hesitate to use either. Currently, I have Redline ATF in my cars.

well I pulled the trigger. I went with amsoil 75-90 manual transmission. Just drove it man it made a difference over motor oil. Figured the thicker weight will help it with all the miles it has. Thanks for advice.
