I’m looking for some guidance before I dive into a block swap on my redblock setup.

I currently have a 1987 B230FT (LH 2.2) in my car, and I’m considering picking up a 1994 B230FT complete block, mainly for the stronger bottom end (13mm rods + oil squirters). My goal isn’t to do a full drivetrain or wiring overhaul—I just want to upgrade the block while keeping things as simple as possible.

From what ive heard a lot can just swap over if since I plan to keep it LH2.2, but what wont swap over, or what should i look out for?

I’m trying to avoid converting to LH 2.4 for now unless there’s a really strong reason to do it during this swap.

Appreciate any advice, especially from anyone who’s done this exact combo before.
