Default Back-up lights don't work

My back-up lights aren't working on my '91 240. I checked the bulbs and they are fine. I don't see any fuses blown either.I'm thinking it is the sensor. Does anyone know where the sensor for this is located?

The sensor is next to the shifter. Also known as the neutral safety switch.
