Default Beautiful Volvo 940. Won't Start for me.

I have a 94, Volvo 940. Looks great. Drives great and Took me where i needed to go. But now Out of the blue it does not want to start for me. It turns over, but does not wanna crank. I have had the car looked at. Everything from the Fuel system,M.a.p and everything else underthat hood..
Can u please give me a few idea on how to get my baby to crank again for me.. i have very importantmeeting to attend this weekend..
I wounder if the "Timmeing " is outta wack?
Something is keeping the car from Cranking!!!

Sorry to say but you need to check the basic's.
Fuel
spark
Injector pulse.

Also remove the oil cap and have someone crank the motor and look in the hole and make sure the cam is turning when the motor is cranking over. If it isn't then the timing belt might be bad.

The following things u listed for me have been done already. If the timeing belt has sliped a notch, Would that keep it from cranking?

No but alot of times what happens is the teeth come off the belt and the crank will turn but the cam will not turn.

Also did you try to unplug the Mass Flow sensor and see if the car starts?

It could be many things.
So to make sure we are all clear.
You have spark.
You have fuel.
You have injector pulse.

  1. no fuel
  2. no spark
  3. major mechanical problem like broken timing belt

Crankshaft position sensor? It's the only one that absolutely has to work for the engine to run. Should set a code if that's the problem..

Joseph,he says he has checked and has spark. So it cant be the crankshaft sensor.

More detail as to how you did what and conditions up to the no start problem would help....

How about regular maintenance...? Just the basics would help...
Let us know the progress

Starter solenoid
trans sensor
battery or what

if its turning over, its not the solenoid or starter motor.
