when buying brake parts for my 240 from fcp groton for the front passenger side ,,is that refered to as front right or front left...my guess is front right as i stand at the front looking at the car.can someone enlighten me ....cheers

 

No, right is passenger side, left, driver's side... as when you are sitting behind the wheel, in the US version.
