Default brakes and a/c ?

Hi I have read your posts about synthetic brake fluid too late.
The car brakes good unless its wet out then they want to lock up at the stop light. Is this a fluid problem or a pad problem.I replaced with organic pads. The valvoline synpower says its compatible with conventional brake fluids.
My other question is an a/c problem. My a/c works then quits.Low pressure is ok and compressor stays running.Does the thermostat control a bypass solenoid or something.I know 2 wires go to the compressor, were do the other 2 go.I know it could be a lot of things .Just sometimes I turn it on and it runs for an hour.Any info will be appreciated.

Default RE: brakes and a/c ?

synthetic works fine IF YOU GET ALL THE OLD STUFF OUT. It doesn't mix and cause problems but if you don't get all the old stuff out it gets foamy and you slowly lose brakes. I had to keeeeeeeeep bleeding the brakes for about 4 mos on and off to get it to stop. This was on my old truck. Are all wheels locking up? Then i would think pads if it is one front then the other caliper is frozen. If it is both rear then your porportioning valve is bad. Good luck and let us know what you find.
