Default A/C Just Died-it's 110 degrees!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello one and all,
Well my A/C worked great until the hottest day thus far thsi summer. It worked in the morning yesterday, then when I left work it blew warm. I was so bitter! So I'm hoping it just needs a recharge of r-134. Does that sound right? If so, how does that work? I'm told it is easy but any advice would be appreciated.

As long as it is already setup fro 134-A then it will be easy to charge it up.
You can buy a can and charge it up.You migth also want to get some dye and install at the same time to help you locate the leak.

Does the compressor kick on at all?

You can also look at the compressor. It is located under the alternator. If the center section is turning then it is running if not then it is not on.You can also unplug the low pressure switch located in the pipe by the firewall of the car and test for power on one side.
