Default Can a 940 power seat be moved manually?

My power seat’s left track is jammed. I understand how to repair it but it’s all the way back and against the bolt head I need to loosen. The right track works and makes the chair twist when moved forward. Can I forcefully move the jammed side slightly to gain access to the bolt? Thanks

Can't you just lift the seat bottom up and fix it from the top? That's the way I always get to them, the upholstery is just attached with a bar at the front and back. I trust you are going to repair it by shortening the outer cable (on the side that's not moving) by 1/2 inch or so and re crimping the end sleeve back on.

I never considered that option. I’ll dig through some diagrams to find that route. Yes, shortening the sheathing was the plan. Thanks!

You can reach the non functioning cable with your hand while working the switch and push it to engage that track.

Yes, I’ve tried that and I feel what I assume to be the binding cable “jump” against a seized load.
