I have a 94 940 that has a peculiar problem, when ignition key is in position 2 everything
works fine, when key is turned and car starts my power windows and headlights wont work.
The engine starts every time but when ignition key is at rest in pos. 3 (where it springs back
to after engine stars and key is released) no lights and no pwr. windows. I have replaced
the entire ignition key and switch assembly thinking that the problem had to be there but
no change. There has to be a common device that these units voltage is routed thru but I
don't have a schematic. If someone out there is good with schematics and could give
me a clue I would be very grateful, don't know where else to look.

Have you tried to wiggle the key after it is running and does it come back on if you wiggle the key?
