Agreed you can check it with a volt meter.
The vacuum leak code is very common.

The 232 is a long term fuel trim code. Which is a vacuum leak. Check all vacuum hoses and spray around the intake manifold with the car running. If the idle changes the intake gasket is leaking.

To test the O2 sensor find the single wire on the firewall on the passenger side. There should be 3 wires total. 2 wires in one plug and 1 in a seperate plug. Slide the boot back on the single wire and connect the positive lead from the meter on the terminal. Then ground the other side. Then start the car is should sweep from 0 to 1 volt I believe but it should sweep all the time.

Check those and let us know.

Correction it is between 0 and 12 volts if you unplug the wire it should show 5 volts.

Cleaning the O2 sensor might do it.
Also reset the codes and see what happens.
I just realized you are local to me. How funny is that?

See what code comes back first.
Then take it from there. Worse case the O2 might be bad.
