Default Coolant leak, fixable?

I have a very slow coolant leak and its coming from here...is this fixable, what is that, why is it leaking...

yeah, there's a gasket ring between the overhang of the head and the top of the water pump, it looks like its failed. aftermarket ones are notoriously uneven quality.

this one should be decent quality,

you're going to need to remove teh pump to replace that gasket, so I'd plan on replacing this main gasket, too,

if your pump is about 120000 miles or more old, it might not be a bad idea to preemptively replace it, as thats about how long the better ones are good for. recommended practice from the factory was to replace the pump every other timing belt (timing belt is a 60k mile interval)

the pumps come with all the gaskets.

Ok thanks a lot! I think I will replace it along with seals under the timing cover bc I think one is leaking.

I want to use the OEM parts or at least as good as OEM, is the HEPU good, or should I stick with OEM Volvo part?

pretty sure Hepu and Graf *make* the Volvo branded pumps.

Thank you again! Thats super cheap for a water pump I expected muuch more.
