Default depressurizing fuel system on '88 240 dl

Okay-

I'm replacing the external fuel pump on my 240 and I'm going through the process of depressurizing the fuel tank. I've got both fuel pump fuses out and I've been letting the engine run for the past 15 minutes. It seems like it should've stalled by now. Am I correct? Have I removed the wrong fuses? Help me out!

went through the same thing when I wanted to change pressure regulator on 93 244. Never did get it to stall. Ended up doing it without relieving the pressure. Not sure how bad it would be with the fuel pump

pull the fuel pump relays...they are either up under the passenger kick well or on the driver's side kick well...cycle the key on and off to locate the clicking and remove and the engine should die out farly quickly.
